Summary:
The Compliance Service Technician will inspect, test, & perform maintenance at locations with underground storage tanks (USTs) for compliance with state & federal regulations.
The technician will travel to sites daily and perform inspections as required by regulatory agencies.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Inspects fuel systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
Maintain necessary state forms and company work order.
Determines pass/fail and communicates needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs.
Performs safety checks when applicable.
Complies with OSHA and EPA rules.
Performs other related duties as required by local agencies.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Thorough understanding of site-specific inspection requirements.
Provide quality Customer Service Detail-oriented, organized, and problem-solving ability.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 70 pounds at times.
8-10 Hours of standing, driving, bending, stooping per day.
Ability to distinguish various colors of UST tank top components.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
